On August 26, 2025, the Luxembourg Earth Observation System (LUXEOSys) satellite successfully launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base. This state-of-the-art government-owned satellite, now in a sun-synchronous Low Earth Orbit, will provide global coverage with up to 100 very high-resolution images daily.
